Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it's alarmed regarding the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area sassa status check on a regular basis. The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
